Bitcoin price climbs above $40,000

Bitcoin price surges up as high as $40,000 during Friday’s trading session.

Bitcoin price jumps to $40,589.18 at the time of publication, according to CoinGecko.

The current price of the largest cryptocurrency by market cap escalates up to 10.8% within a 24-hour trading period.

On late Friday morning, the largest cryptocurrency by market cap reclines to $37,537 after surging to over $38,000 in just hours.

Bitcoin price escalates again

The crypto market is showing resilience, and Bitcoin’s momentum seems to increase again.

Bitcoin price gains as several financial experts convey, stating BTC would surpass $40,000 before Q1 ends.

Though the price of the largest cryptocurrency settled above $30,000 for more than three months, investors have exhibited signs of renewed risk appetite.

Bitcoin has indeed received enormous criticisms. Despite that situation, it has the largest market cap and remains undefeated on the first spot in the crypto ranking.

Other cryptos show impressive spikes

The global cryptocurrency market cap as of today is up to 8/7% at $1.93 trillion at the time of writing. At the time of publication, these are the current prices of other digital currencies.

On the other hand, the prices of other digital currencies are climbing as well. Ether increases more strongly up to $14.4% with the current trading price at $2,974.25.

Binance (BNB) moves up to 8.5% at $396.12. Cardano (ADA) is up to 5.3% at $1.11. Solana (SOL) jumps strongly up to 13.4% at $110.34. XRP is up to 6.1% at $0.63884. Polkadot (DOT) surges up to 9.8% at $20.17.

In addition, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu are among the top performers as of February 4. DOGE jumps up to 5.3% at $0.143499, and SHIB is up to 8.5% at $0.00002205.
